Biography: Dr. Ciavaglia Brown is originally from the Texas City Area near Houston and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX followed by her Doctor of Medicine at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, WI. She then completed her residency at the Family Medicine Residency Program at The University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences in Tuscaloosa, AL. She was drawn to work in family medicine because she is able to give all-encompassing attention to individuals of all ages while also building long-term relationships with her patients.Dr. Ciavaglia Brown is an AAFP member and published in the Wiley Journal of Clinical Psychology. She believes in serving her community by giving all individuals the care they deserve in a compassionate, caring, and hands-on manner. She understands that each patient is unique and believes in providing empathetic care while also prioritizing health and well-being. She takes the time to listen to concerns and promote overall health and preventive care to work towards a healthier future.When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Ciavaglia Brown enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with loved ones. She and her family are also often found enthusiastically cheering on the Houston Astros. Dr. Ciavaglia Brown welcomes new patients and referrals and when appropriate the practice does offer telehealth visits.
