Biography: Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, I was a nurse in gastroenterology. I decided to pursue my family nurse practitioner degree so I could continue building relationships with patients while promoting preventive health. I graduated with my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Minnesota. My practice is in family medicine, and I enjoy caring for patients with various acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan. I enjoy providing and incorporating various skills, such as in-office procedures, as needed for my patients. Family medicine allows me to partner and develop relationships with patients and their families throughout all stages of life, while helping them tailor their health goals and promote healthy living. I enjoy getting to know my patients and creating a partnership to help improve their physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual well-being.

My background in sports medicine means muscles and bones are my specialty and I enjoy seeing patients of all ages to keep them healthy and active. I also have special interest in urgent care. My approach to patient care is to share decision-making so my patients can voice their opinions. Together, we create plans that best address our concerns.
