Biography: As a primary care doctor, I am honored to be able to provide care for the health of individuals and families over time. Whether a patient needs care for an acute issue, a chronic medical condition or a wellness exam, I am interested in promoting overall health. I work to listen to my patients, be thoughtful about their concerns and provide evidence-based recommendations for screening, diagnosis and treatment. I have a special interest in adolescent medicine and chronic disease management. I also spend part of my time working at one of Park Nicollet Foundation's school-based health clinics for uninsured or underinsured children in the Burnsville community.

Biography: I am a primary care provider virtualist, supporting the primary care provider team in Burnsville, Minnesota. I have more than 20 years of health care experience, with almost 20 years as a nurse practitioner in areas like multicultural primary care, cardiology, hematology and transplant. Although not every condition can be seen virtually, common conditions that work well for virtual visits include: alternating chronic disease visits (for diabetes, blood pressure, lung disease, cholesterol, arthritis) with in-clinic visits; obtaining timely lab or diagnostic test results; urgent visits that don't need an exam beyond what can be seen on video; symptom management; depression, anxiety and mood concerns; and various educational topics such as nutrition, physical activity and preventive health screening recommendations. I believe it's important to both take proven steps to prevent future medical problems as well as systematically address current challenges.

Biography: While I enjoy working with patients of all ages, my particular professional interests include hypertension, adult cardiovascular preventive medicine, diabetes mellitus, adolescent medicine, migraines and sports medicine. A native of southern Minnesota and a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, I trained and worked in rural Wisconsin for nearly a decade before returning home to Minnesota in 2008. I am also a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. I now look forward to meeting many of you and hope to be a knowledgeable, kind and compassionate source of medical advice and treatment for you. Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife and children. Skiing, soccer, gardening, bird watching, hiking and camping are some of my favorite activities.
