Biography: Dr. Jacobs lives in Tacoma with his wife and son. He enjoys fishing, gardening, traveling and caring for his numerous pets.

Care Philosophy: I chose the field of Pediatrics to improve the health of children and started Pediatrics Northwest along with Dr. Tanbara to provide the highest quality of care to all children of our region. I chose Allergy and Immunology as a subspecialty for the love of research, new discoveries in medicine and the application of this science to the practice of Medicine. My practice philosophy is to provide competent, kind, and compassionate care to all patients in an equitable manner. And to improve the health of our community through medicine and participation.

Care Philosophy: I was drawn to pediatrics because of the opportunity to treat illnesses in ways that allow children to go on to live complete, healthy and fulfilling lives. I love working with children because it allows me to work with parents to solve problems together with imagination, engagement and affection.
