She went to Spelman College, an all women's liberal arts college, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Biology, with departmental honors. Biography: Dr. Wright grew up in Pennsylvania where, even as a child, she hoped to one day become a dentist. She attended the University of Pittsburgh where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude. She attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore - the very first dental school in the world, known as the birthplace of modern dentistry. After four years, she earned her DDS degree, and elected to further her training by completing a year-long residency at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital. Following her residency, Dr. Wright moved to Charlotte, NC to start her career, marry her fiancé, and settle into their newly purchased home. She enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a dentist, and their pet cat, Fiona, and dog, Joby. In her free time Dr. Wright can be found hiking, traveling, or checking out a new restaurant in this city that she has come to call home. Dr. Wright is a member of the American Dental Association, American General Dentistry Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Charlotte Dental Society.
