Biography: Dr. Ashley Tovo is a member of the Women's Health Alliance team. She is known for her devotion and passion for women's health. A Charleston, West Virginia native, she graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University before earning her medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine. Dr. Tovo's residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas was marked by awards in achievement including the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Southern Gynecologic Assembly and the Joseph Warren Award for Resident Excellence.Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Tovo is dedicated to providing comprehensive women's health care including contraceptive management, high-risk pregnancy, minimally invasive pelvic surgery, and menopause. Biography: Dr. Myears loves making personal connections with her patients and looks forward to taking care of women throughout all stages of life, from contraceptive counseling to pregnancy to the menopausal transition. She feels lucky that women trust her with their health journey and prioritizes shared decision making when forming management plans. She has a special interest in adolescent contraceptive management, both high and low risk pregnancies, addressing modifiable risk factors for cancer, and PCOS. She performs in office procedures such as biopsies, long acting reversible contraceptives, hysteroscopy, and LEEP, as well as robotic myomectomies, endometriosis procedures, and hysterectomies in the hospital.Dr. Myears was raised in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri summa cum laude and then moved to Dallas to attend UT Southwestern for medical school. She stayed in Dallas for residency at Parkland Hospital, one of the highest volume obstetric hospitals in the nation. She served as chief resident and won several teaching awards from the medical students and residents. In her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and the two best boys in the whole world.

Biography: Dr. Romberg grew up in the suburbs of San Diego, CA. She earned her bachelor's degree withsumma cum laude honors from the University of California at San Diego. She attended bothgraduate and medical school at UT Southwestern, where she earned both her master's degree ingenetics and her medical degree. She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics andgynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in June 2005. Shortly thereafter, shejoined the excellent physicians at Women's Health Alliance.Dr. Romberg has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2007. She earnednumerous awards throughout her education including the DFW OB/GYN society award foroutstanding medical student and the W.K. Strother award for excellence in clinical and academicachievement during residency. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics andGynecology and belongs to the AMA, TMA, and the Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Romberg cares for women through all stages of life, from the teenage years throughchildbearing and midlife into menopause, including hormone therapy. She is skilled atperforming minimally-invasive laparoscopy with the DaVinci robotic platform, such ashysterectomy, cystectomy, endometriosis resection, and salpingectomies for sterilization. Sheenjoys delivering babies, both routine and high-risk pregnancies. She also performs in-officeprocedures including endometrial ablation for heavy bleeding, hysteroscopy, colposcopy toevaluate abnormal Pap smears, LEEP for treatment of cervical dysplasia, and placement of long-term reversible contraceptives such as IUDs and implants.Away from her practice she enjoys spending time with her husband Kirk and four kids, reading,being active in her church community & step-family ministry, cheering on her kids at theiractivities, traveling and attending the theater.

Biography: Dr. Joy Peveto is a Dallas area native, born and raised in Irving, Texas. She decided to be a doctor at eight years old. She therefore received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude and then returned to the Metroplex where she received her Medical Degree from UT Southwestern Medical School. After graduation, she ventured across town for residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr Peveto is an active Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Southwest Gynecology Assembly, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Peveto is passionate about women's health throughout all phases of life, from puberty to menopause with a particular interest in inclusive and equitable care. She is comfortable walking her patients through their journey to facilitate the family of their dreams, be that through pregnancy, birth control, or permanent surgical options. Dr Peveto utilizes evidence-based medicine with a personal touch to provide care for her patients.Dr Peveto has a specialized skill set that is uniquely honed to oversee low intervention management to emergency care, and she walks her patients through the medical landscape with transparency, education, compassion, and integrity. She is excited to manage low risk to high risk pregnancies with confidence. She is a skilled minimally invasive surgeon, both in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She is proficient in a wide breadth of procedures, including endometrial ablation, permanent sterilization, and management of abnormal pap smears. Her high level surgical skill includes hysterectomy, advanced laparoscopy, and operative hysteroscopy.Dr Peveto is an avid reader (often via audiobooks because there are only 24 hours in a day). She is also a long-time sports fan, and has been known to watch and get into almost any competitive sport. She enjoys interior design and fashion, specifically bold color. She is known to coordinate her scrubs to her earrings, headband, and shoes. She likens herself to a magpie, as shiny things make her smile. She adores her husband, two daughters, one very fluffy (and very spoiled) rescue super-mutt, extended family and friends. In her free time, she decompresses via continuing her own journey of self-care, eating her husband's delicious food, trying new restaurants in the area, traveling, going to concerts, and to the theater.

Biography: Dr. Kurian grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then graduated from Texas A&M University College of Medicine with honors, and completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Kurian was elected as chief resident and was voted one of 2004 Berlex Laboratories Best Second-year Teaching Residents. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, completed in December 2008. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Kurian has a special interest in routine and high-risk obstetrics, annual gynecologic exams, abnormal Pap smear evaluations, contraception, and gynecologic surgery. She enjoys caring for women of all ages, and can help her patients from puberty to peri-menopause.She is certified in Da Vinci minimally invasive robotic surgery and can perform many in-office procedures, including endometrial ablations, diagnostic hysteroscopy, and excision procedures for cervical dysplasia.She and her husband are the proud parents to two boys, Noah and Lucas. She also has a rescue dog, Julius Erving, who has stolen her heart.

Biography: Dr. Newsom grew up in Southlake, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University then returned to Texas to attend UT Southwestern Medical School. She remained in Dallas to complete her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Parkland Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society and a Fellow the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.Dr. Newsom loves caring for women through all of the stages of womanhood. She received her bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then went across the DFW metroplex to the University of Texas Southwestern for Medical School. She then began her career at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas as a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology. After she graduated from residency, she joined Women's Health Alliance.Dr. McCants is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has many awards under her belt from medical school and residency. She is a member of AMA, TMA and Dallas County Medical Society. Dr. McCants is passionate about her job. She loves to walk with women through life from their teen years all the way through menopause. She is knowledgeable in family planning, from infertility to routine birth control, all the way to permanent sterilization. She is confident in caring for women with pregnancies from low risk to high risk.Dr. McCants is highly trained in minimally invasive surgeries using the DiVinci robot, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She is proficient in many procedures including endometrial ablations, myomectomy and LEEPs. Often these procedures can be performed in the office with ease.Dr. McCants loves to cook and states she would become a chef if she was not a physician.
