Biography: Douglas Songer, MD earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his psychiatry residency at Wright State University (WSU) in 1996 and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His current focus is on depression and anxiety disorders, but he will accept patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Dr. Songer currently serves as an associate professor of medicine at WSU and as an assistant professor of psychology at Ohio University.

Biography: Terez Metry, MD is a graduate of Zagazig University in Egypt. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at St. Mary's in Rochester, New York and her residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Metry is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has special interest in Women's Health and Diabetes. Biography: Elizabeth R. Swartzwelder-Cozad, MD graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Wright State University. Biography: Mick Denen, MD is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and Wright State University School of Medicine. Biography: Anne Reitz, MD is a graduate of Miami University and the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. She completed her residency in family practice at St. Francis Hospital of Evanston. Biography: Julia A. Boyd, MD is a graduate of the University of Dayton and The Ohio State School of Medicine. Biography: Warren Ljungren, MD is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton. He is certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Ljungren has a special interest in sports medicine. Dr. Ljungren has been with Beavercreek Family Medicine since its foundation in 1987.

Biography: Anoopa Hodges, DO has shared her expertise in managing acute and chronic illness in the adult population, including geriatrics, since 2004. Dr. Hodges has focused on preventative care medicine in a personal and friendly atmosphere since 2009. As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, she is able to perform manipulative treatment as well. As a Primary Care Physician, she oversees all aspects of a patient's care and refers to specialists when necessary. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

She has been with the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics of Centerville since 1993.

Biography: Josh Ordway, MD is excited to serve residents of the Miami Valley region through his medical office, Springboro Family Medicine. Dr. Ordway grew up in a village in northwest Ohio. After completing his undergraduate studies in economics at Princeton University where he was a 3 sport NCAA athlete, Dr. Ordway attended The Ohio State University to take pre-med courses so that he could attend medical school. Dr. Ordway graduated as a doctor of medicine from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2010. He completed his residency program in Dayton through the Wright State University Family Medicine Program in 2013. Dr. Ordway lives in Springboro with his wife, Megan, and their 3 adorable children. He is a former quasi-professional marathon runner. Some of his accomplishments include winning the 2008 Columbus marathon and running in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic marathon trials, placing 21st and 47th, respectively. Dr. Ordway continues to compete at a high level and can be seen running in local races. Dr. Ordway looks forward to caring for family members spanning from infants to the elderly. Some of his special interests include dermatology, geriatrics, joint injections, pediatrics, skin bump and lump removal, sports medicine and women's health. Dr. Ordway is a Credentialed ImPACT® Consultant trained in treating concussions as well as administering and interpreting the ImPACT® test.

Biography: Jay Hoffman, MD is a graduate of Duke University and the Wright State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton. Dr. Hoffman is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been with SureCare Medical Center since 1995.

Biography: Michael Ruff, MD was born and raised in the Dayton area. After attending medical school at the Medical College of Ohio, he completed his training in Family Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018) in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. He has worked in both private practice and academic teaching settings including Wright State University's School of Medicine. His professional interests include office based procedures and providing care for the whole family, including newborns through geriatrics. His personal interests include spending time with his family, sports (especially golf), reading and writing.

Biography: Ronald Pohlman, MD is a graduate of the University of Dayton and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Practice at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton. He is certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Physicians, and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Pohlman has been with Beavercreek Family Medicine since 2000.
