I work hard on making a personal connection with each patient, sometimes connecting with them on sports, culture, or food, in the hopes that they will not only see me as their physician but also as a friend whom they can trust. To me, this is the heart of the doctor patient relationship: trust and respect. I work hard to ensure that my patients needs are met and nothing makes me happier than seeing their health improve. I gain from them as much I hope they gain from me. I am passionate about sharing new developments in cardiovascular treatment with my patients so that they can be better informed about their options. I want to give my patients a wide range of options and to remind them they are an equal partner in helping them achieve their healthiest state.

With each patient encounter, I take a holistic approach and treat each patient as my family with compassion, dignity and respect to provide the best possible cardiovascular care. I hope to not only be a patient advocate, but also a teacher, a role model and a friend.

Care Philosophy: I truly believe in involving my patients in their care. To me, it takes a team to practice the best medicine even if it is as little as two people in that team. My job is to provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based guideline recommendations in cardiovascular medicine, but ultimately finding the right therapy for each patient is obtained via complete discussion with each individual.
