Over 2 years ago, he helped establish the relationship between Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Doctors Hospital to improve the healthcare of student athletes. Dr. Hechtman also serves as a clinical instructor for physician assistants and athletic trainers at Barry University, Miami Dade College and Nova Southeastern University.
