Biography: I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisory endorsement in Ohio with over 20 years of professional work experience. I have helped many clients cope with depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, substance use disorders, and parenting issues. I generally take a holistic approach to treatment that strives to take the whole person into consideration. So, I help people change their thoughts, find motivation, change behavior, manage their feelings. As person-centered counselor, I treat every person non-judgmentally with dignity, and the respect everyone deserves because they exist. I also recognize individuality--your journey is not the same as another's; they cannot be treated the same way. I use techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy (BT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR)--all evidence-based treatments.
