Biography: I am licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island with 26 years working in the areas of Child Protection, Emergency Psychiatric Evaluations, Substance Use Disorders, Trauma, Partner/Spousal abuse and private practice therapeutic work using an eclectic approach tayloring treatment to the needs of each individual - as well as being trained in EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, & trauma and abuse. I have worked with a diverse population and a wide range of emotional issues. I have experience helping clients cope with addictions, career challenges, exploring authentic self, and life transitions. I also specialize in working with compassion fatigue. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I work directly with my clients to establish a schedule of appointments. This means my availability is not seen on the BetterHelp calendar. Also, since migrating onto the telehealth platform, I have noticed it is a good idea for me to schedule "no screen" time in my calendar-- this has become essential for my well-being and ability to remain fully present with my clients.
