Coming from a traditional medical world I had no idea that functional medicine existed. My doctors had never talked to me about the effects of foods and how it can make you feel. Going through the detox program I was able to identify foods that had significant effects on the way I felt. The goal isn’t to make you lose 30 lbs but to realize that food is fuel and we feel our best when we eat nutritious things to keep our body in its best working order.
