Yvonne Looman, CNP

I was originally very happy with my appt with DNP Looman, until I saw her write up afterwards. She appeared to be very attentive and took all the time I needed to talk to me. But apparently she didn't hear anything I said, because her description of everything I said at the appt was all wrong. She reported things I never said and misreported other things. Another doctor that I see disagrees with her main interpretation of my health. She did give me some good information about anti-depressants and tremors, but how can I trust what she says when almost everything was wrong? It's too bad, because she was very thorough and took a lot of time. I have another appt with her, and maybe that will be better. But I am asking for a 2nd opinion about the first diagnosis she made.

Initially nurse set me at ease and asked for any concerns to pass on to Dr. Looman. Although it turned out that my condition did not require her services. [...]. I WAS _____ as was my PCP. This visit w/Dr. Looman encouraged me in my journey with COVID brain _____. She was SO THOROUGH with explanation on both my son who accompanied me to appt. The fear of the future dissipated and restored my belief that I WOULD get through this. NOT A SMALL THING! If unable to read this - PLEASE call me my functions still slightly diminished. This doctor listened, HEARD my concerns, gave information along with compassionate understanding and answers. I would give her THE HIGHEST thanks and ratings.

The health system can use many more doctors like *Dr. Looman.

I had a bad experience the doctor was very blunt and made me cry we did not need to talk about a stroke.

I found her to be extremely good at listening and considering my feelings, questions and concerns. I was not rushed, which often can be a problem at specialists. I found her office easy to deal with and good at booking appointments. I had my neurosurgery in MA so I could recover at my parents place, but I live in Atlanta. This means follow up appointments are hard to book. But their office has worked hard to be accommodating to my work and travel schedules, which is a relief. Highly Recommend.

Extremely dissatisfied with this office. They are extremely irresponsible and will end up harming someone with their lack of knowledge and care. Do not see this office, you will be disappointed.
