She throws her bad temper on her patients

Just like other comments said, my experience with Dr Kuan was the worst among worst. She is like a bad teacher judging here and there, showed zero empathy to your sorrow and just criticized you saying "you did things wrong, why don't you change?" She just like to talk about herself, like how experienced she is, and what other similar patients behaved ---- with criticizing words that I am sure her patients will be annoyed if they hear what she said behind them. I doubt her professionalism as a psychologist, and I highly doubt her integrity as a person.

I need to speak the truth. Maybe others think she is good. However I think she is not the one you should go to if you are depressed or suffering from anxiety. Her attitude is just fine. But her way of interacting will make you feel worse!! I’m definitely feel much worse after seeing her. I’d rather just stay at home. ????

My daughter is an international student and was having difficulty adjusting. She contacted us when she found out that our daughter was hurting herself. Dr. Kuan has helped our family and my child through difficult times. She has connected well with my daughter and with her help she is doing much better.

I have been seeing Dr. Kuan for several years now for major depressive disorder and anxiety amongst other related issues. She is an excellent listener, seems to know me better than I know myself...not in obvious ways either. It might be some little issue I had no idea was affecting me in such a major way. She helps me understand issue and breaks it down into actionable steps. She has literally saved my life. Dr Kuan is an excellent dr and I would send any of my family or friends to her!
