This doctor was terrible. He has no patient service skills at all. He is rude. You would think in the mental health field you would have a kind heart, well not for him. He told me to get rid of my attitude when he clearly had one himself, and then proceeded to lock the door in my face with my son inside. He's disgusting and has no manners. He should be fired with as many bad reviews he has.

If it weren't for Dr. Austin, my kids and I wouldn't have our home, and the abusive situation we were in would have been much worse.

After being told to come to Dr William 15 minutes early I did exactly that I'm standing here locked out of the office and the doctor is nowhere to be seen. I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early like they said even after verbal confirmation I'm still standing outside nobody is in the office

If you're thinking about seeing Dr. Austin, I highly recommend that you don't. Please save yourself a lot of time, effort, and money and find someone else. In my most recent session, I had forgotten to do something and for the entire hour, he just berated me for being forgetful and used my triggers against me and forced me into a panic attack. Being forgetful is a very common symptom of mental illness. He then had the audacity to claim my panic attack was actually just attitude directed at him and he very aggressively said "I don't appreciate your attitude right now!" Then, while I was sobbing, he made me call my partner into the room and spent the last 20ish minutes of the session negatively talking about me like I wasn't there and telling my partner information about previous sessions. I'm pretty sure that's a violation of my privacy considering I never signed any forms stating he can freely give that information to my partner. This man is terrible and he can't handle crying patient

These negative reviews about Dr. Austin are outrageous, fabricated and slander. He is the best mental health professional that I’ve ever worked with and I’ve had therapy since I was 10. Dr. Austin was the only one that understood what I was feeling. He helped me learn better, healthier, empowering strategies for dealing with difficulties. Every previous counselor just told me things I already knew and were just a waste of my time and money. Dr Austin is not going to tell you what you want to hear. He is going to tell you the truth, what you need to hear, so you have the opportunity to make changes. He is very wise, professional and skilled at making people feel comfortable to open up and share feelings and experiences. Through the therapy work he suggested I try and his encouragement along the way, He has helped me changed my life. I am much happier and more confident. I can’t help but think that most of the Negative reviews are from a few who have an ulterior motive

After doing a 5-minute history he'd ask me questions and then constantly interrupted me before I could even finish the sentence and then ask me the same question again and again this is the worst counselor I've ever seen don't waste your time

One of the worst mental Health professional that I have dealt with in the past 10 years. This guys talks about himself and Minimize your problems and issues. He has no clue what he is talking about. He need to find another profession but he sucks at being a psychologist.

My family met with Dr. Austin several times. Together and individually. To be brief...a pompous, self promoting and distracted person who wasted our time. Quick example: My wife gave a full day notice cancellation for one daughter's appt in order to bring our other daughter to a medical Dr. for strep throat. Wow did he take offense to that. Like it was a personal attack against his profession. Another: I had to wait 20 minutes during MY scheduled time listening to him order office furniture.

Dr. Austin is an extremely kind, talented psychologist. He understands the issues brought to him and helps his clients to process how best to deal with them. He is resourceful in his ability to illustrate the client's options. I have and will continue to refer people in personal pain to see Dr. Wm. Austin.

Started session almost 15 minutes late. Dr. Austin was unaware that he was seeing a couple for marriage counseling (as opposed to a single person). Barely listened to what we had to say and basically left both me and my wife feeling less comfortable than when we walked in. He was extremely arrogant and opinionated about the issues we tried to explain to him. Quite frankly I would not recommend him to anyone.
