She does not seem to care. They don’t handle billing or prescriptions very well either. I will try to find another doctor.

During my appointment at Carolina Arthritis, not only was Ms. Simmons rude and dismissive, as mentioned by another reviewer, she had the audacity to question a decision I had made with my surgeon to have shoulder replacement surgery. She did not listen to my questions and was resistant to my request for an x-ray of my fingers. Several weeks after my appointment she sent a certified letter terminating our physician/patient relationship that she signed along with the five Carolina Arthritis medical doctors although I had never been seen by them. It’s a sorry day when a patient is denied medical advice and treatment because I was trying to be my own best advocate.

I would not recommend as she is not very personable, was quite rude, and dismissive of me. I was told when I finally got to an actual doctor, and not a PA, that she hadn't even given me enough medicine to clear poison ivy much less an autoimmune disease. No wonder I felt awful.

She billed me for the longest possible visit after talking about herself for a lot of the visit. My medicines were not called into the pharmacy, and she was very short with me.
