Dr. Wendy Gajarsky, PSY.D

Rude, would not recommend.

Dr. Gajarsky was always at least 15 minutes late. One time she said it was because she had to go to Starbucks for a strawberry macchiato. Seriously? She would stifle yawns while I was talking about difficult life situations. I found my visits with her to be a complete waste of time.

I saw Dr. G for a year for depression, relationship advice and general life coaching. I found the other reviews to be true. There may be a 10-15 minute wait, no more than any other doctor's appointment. She did talk about herself and her experiences, but it was all relevant to the topic at hand. I benefited a great deal from her advice and find myself reflecting back even today and still gaining from the experience. It was well worth the investment in my personal growth and I highly recommend.

Dr. Gajarsky helped me through an incredibly difficult time in my life about 8 years ago, helped me form solid boundaries, learn what is and isn't appropriate to apologize for, and deal with depression in a healthy way. She was bluntly honest, when I didn't want to hear it but needed to. I trust her immensely and found her to be very professional and a great example of an emotionally healthy counselor.

The Dr. talked about herself a lot during the sessions and discussed what works for her. She shared examples of her experiences which were not relevant to my situation. She never started on time and never apologized for her tardiness. I would not recommend.
