Dr. Wendy Chorny, DPT

I saw Dr. Chorny for a chronic issue in my neck several years ago. After a short consultation she was able to pin point my issue and treat it in a very short amount of time, and bonus I’ve have been able to stay out of the PT office since! She really set me up for success! love her personality and her bedside manner is amazing! She also has an incredible amount of knowledge about the female body!

Dr. Chorny is an AMAZING physical therapist!!! She knows her stuff inside and out and will go above and beyond to help her patients. She will make you laugh and have fun along the way while educating you on your own body’s anatomy and function!

Wendy is amazing! After dealing with odd mishaps my entire life and seeing MULTIPLE physical therapists, Wendy helped me get a diagnosis with a connective tissue disorder. What PTs, PCPs, chiropractors and a pain doctor missed, Wendy helped discover. After meeting with her colleague for a specific issue, I met with her, her first question was, "what all in your body is 'weird'?" I was dumbfounded. After years of being dismissed, noticing neck pain flare up and digestive pain flare ups occur at the same time and then for my PCP to off handedly say, "it makes some sense that that would happen," I finally found someone who helped put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Life changing.

If I could rate her higher than a five, I would. She is the best PT I have ever met. She treats the whole person, and in addition to advanced training, just seems to be almost psychic when it comes to getting to the root of the problems.

Wendy is a amazing. She is not only my dear friend, but an extremely intelligent PT who know her stuff and takes the time to explain everything to you. Her advice, the therapy she’s provided me, and the exercises I have to do from home have helped me tremendously. My SI joint dysfunction and sciatic nerve issues still cause me grief from time to time but once I visit Wendy, relief is in sight. Her patients mean the world to her and that shows at every appointment and beyond. All staff have been super accommodating and wonderful as well each time I have been in for therapy. I recommend her to everyone if they need a PT in the Dayton area!

After a life-changing shoulder injury I met with Dr. Chorny. Since then I’ve seen her for hip pain. I recommend her to friends and family and my father-in-law has been her patient.

Dr. Wendy Chorny is an outstanding medical professional. She cares about her patients and walks with us along the path of strengthening to get to a livable place in life. I have realized that she is not intimidated by a patient that knows their own body and has a lot of their own knowledge. I have seen her passion about learning about not so common genetic disorders and problems that women live with and that she has sought out information to help them lead a healthier life and be full of life. I have seen her for nearly 4 years off and on and I am still amazed with her. She loves what her work is and loves her patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chorny for several years. Her experience, knowledge, and skill are vast. She listens to you. She doesn't just tell you WHAT to do, she also tells you HOW and WHY it's important. The staff are friendly and the office is clean and cheery. Highly recommend. Her knowledge of women's health rehab is top knotch, as well.

Amazing PT. She is smart, personable, and totally dedicated to helping her patients. I always enjoy my sessions with her and would recommend her to anyone.

Wendy is amazing! I am a complex patient who has thrown a lot at her and she takes on the challenge without missing a beat! She can read her patients and knows when they need pushed and when they need a hug or to cry. She's been there for me through it all and I can't thank her enough for her support and compassion!
