Contacted Dr. Secrest about her services. Her initia response was enthusiastic but when she realized that I was interested in a dual counseling session with one of her current patients, her mood and demeanor changed. I had discussed prior to me reaching out to Secrest my intentions with her patient. Virginia acted like I had made up the situation and that I was trying to get personal medical information. Very biased and unprofessional.

She is unwilling to step out of her comfort zone. Worried about lawsuits. Even though she says she knows how to deal with trauma : she doesn’t to the point of traumatizing you more . I will say she did right by me I was her patient since January of 1998 till January of 2017, she wrote a one sentence to my attorney saying I was capable of making decisions. This I really appreciated because now I’m out of a 4 decade situation of abuse.
