Was seeking help w/depression and anxiety - recurring issue for me. Did initial consultation and 6 subsequent visits over 4 month period. I felt Dr. Castro was of modest help, having seen a couple of other therapists many years ago I had a frame of reference regards this experience. He is a nice person however I felt he could have dug a bit deeper into my temperament and current life issues - a lot of the discussion felt more like surface level talk. Other issues: he seemed very busy/booked - it was difficult to get an appointment and on a couple of occasions it took 3-4 days to get a reply to phone voice and/or text messages I sent (to his cell). Would take only cash payment (no credit cards); never received a receipt from him for these co-payments, seemed bit odd business practice.
