Veronica Rios, LMHC

I saw Veronica for a few years when I was dealing with anxiety/panic. She was willing to accept my parents to come into some sessions and talk things through with me. After seeing 3 different people, Veronica was the only person who was able to help me through my disorders. It’s been about 7 years since I first saw her and I can tell you she’s the best therapist I’ve ever seen. She is very real and relatable when it comes to talking about your problems.

She gives very good constructive criticism and advice. Very good listener. Brings a bit of humor which is comforting. When speaking, she has a fun and positive tone to her voice which makes you feel welcomed and safe.

Good evening, Veronica is a TRUE NOT a "so-called" LMHC, she should be utterly AVOIDED at all costs!! Her business partner, possibly her Husband(??), her "official biller" in this shady business venture, somehow financially FOULED up my last few appointments with her, and then Veronica had the audacity to turn this logistical misnomer against myself, IN PERSON, SHAMEFUL. In the strict context of reality, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING whatsoever (thank GOODNESS!!) to directly do with their atrocious in-house, and AMATUERISH billing processes. As for her Counseling techniques, BE AWARE, she will arbitrarily cut you off in session, never allowing you to complete your thoughts, but interjecting HER sometimes erroneous "professional" conclusions on a given issue under discussion. Her "partner", and Husband would occasionally interrupt our private counseling sessions, barely knocking, almost butting in at random to the session room. DO STAY AWAY FROM HER, SHE IS ECCENTRIC AT BEST.

If you take your child in and you are divorced she will chose sides. Doesn't care about the child's needs. Bills wrong even after telling them for months the order to bill. Tries to tell me and my ex how to communicate with each other when we aren't her client. When sending informational emails re:my child she discontinues my child's from care which in turn is for the better bust then says im damaging my child...... ohm am i missing something?

Absolutely Horrible. As a counselor and a person. After spending days correcting her extensive billing errors, she decided only my daughters mother could be apart of her care or communicate with her. My daughter started coming home from her appointments with this counselor saying, "I don't think my counselor likes you." She wrote me a confusing letter saying if I send her an email about my daughters care or billing, it's "psychological neglect" to my daughter! This counselor is completely unhinged and I feel for anyone who seeks services from her. I have notified the Department of Health in an attempt to keep other children from being pitted against their parents from this counselor.

Terrible therapist, did not listen to anything I had to say. She would also talk to my mom separately (during my appointment!) For about 45 minutes every session, giving me 15 minutes to talk. She also talked about my issues we discussed in private, in the waiting room, to my mother, in front of the other people in the room.

Asks the hard questions and tells you what you need to hear. not what you want to hear. very good. would recommend

Veronica is thorough in her treatment plans and explanations. She is knowledgeable about many different symptoms and situations. Her life and work experiences definitely aid her in understanding my needs as a client.

Visited her with my daughter regarding anxiety. She is very aggressive and cuts you off when you speak. She assumes things and is very unprofessional with her approach. She discussed every detail with us that our daughter shared with us and made myself,my husband and my daughter feel uncomfortable and exposed by the time we left. I felt anxiety in her office as well as my daughter. My daughter said she was intimidating and she does not want to return.
