Vanessa Sanne, RN

I was referred to Vanessa by my Oncologist to manage my chronic pain caused by cancer that had metastasized to bone leaving permanent damage and chronic pain. From the beginning, her goal was to "get me off pills". She cut back my meds at every visit despite conveying to her through tears how much pain I was in. An MRI revealed that I had suffered a massive rotator cuff tear. It took that to convince her I wasn't making it up. She was condescending and patronizing at every appt yet I continued to try to establish a friendly relationship with her. After surgery to repair my rotator cuff, she advised me that I needed to find someone else to prescribe meds as "I only treat cancer patients". I asked her "what about the chronic bone pain that still exists from the cancer"? Her answer, "that's a good question" as she walked out the door. She didn't even bother to consult my Oncologist. I filed a complaint with the nursing board that has gone nowhere.
