I was diagnosed w Type 2 Diabetes in June 2020. I was now giving myself insulin every day. I met w Vanessa Carter, RD through a tele health call. She spent 70 min w me. As an RN myself, and being critically ill and on a ventilator in ICU in June, we hit it right off. She helped calm some of my fears, as I had nearly died, and she began educating me, on things I never knew. I am having to watch my Vit D intake also, and my kidney function. She made life a whole lot easier, because of her knowledge! I will HIGHLY recommend Vanessa, to anyone who wants to learn to eat right! - DJO - 9-8-2020
