Valeriya Bauer, MA

I participated in a trauma support group led by Valeriya. She's a very compassionate, supportive, and empowering therapist. She's knowledgeable about current thinking on trauma and attachment. She created a grounded, safe space that facilitated sharing and growth. She's a great listener and excellent communicator, and is very real and down to earth. I liked that her blend of approaches included somatic methods. The sessions had a focus but were flexible in terms of meeting the specific needs of the group. They were educational, in that a lot of information was shared, but they were interactive as well, with plenty of opportunities for the participants to make connections to our individual situations and each other. I enjoyed and benefited from the sessions. I would highly recommend her.
