I saw Dr. Mantecon on and off for 20 years, and while words can’t fully capture how much she’s helped me, I’ll try. I’ve experienced deep trauma, struggle with trust, and have difficulty expressing myself. I’ve tried therapy before, but it never felt like the right fit. Dr. Mantecon, however, was different. She patiently worked through my reluctance and never gave up on me.Many seek therapy for quick fixes to current problems, and I was no different. Dr. Mantecon, however, helped me address both my present struggles and past trauma. She didn’t rush the process; instead, she took time to understand me, my experiences, and how I view the world. This thoughtful approach made lasting change possible. Dr. Mantecon didn’t just focus on my issues; she helped me understand their root causes. Her support, compassion, and non-judgmental attitude made all the difference. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking thoughtful, empathetic guidance.

Unfortunately there was no solutions, or steps to move towards solutions. She was an ear, but as a therapist you would hope that sessions would include short term goals, or steps to take to resolve items. Clearly just wanted to be paid for listening. If you're looking for a therapist that will help you find steps to move forward, don't go here. You're better with talking to a friend if you just want an ear or a shoulder, or a couch.
