Dr. Troy Ford, OD

Went for a routine eye exam and prescription and received trial contacts. I wasn't sure they worked so went back for another contact. I was made to feel guilty that I needed a longer trial. I ended up buying the contacts and they were horrible. Several times they tore while in my eyes. I went back again and insisted on my prior lenses, as they always worked for me. They offered no allowance for the prescription they wrote and gave me a hard time about wanting the brand I had always used before. Plus, in my previous experience, the doctor would check the lense in my eye before making the purchase, he did not.

Loved the care I received. Dr Ford was efficient and thorough. His office staff were friendly and courteous. I recommend Payson Eye Care.

My elderly mother went to see Dr Ford for a routine eye check up. Long story short, she was sent to get cataract surgery(along with a van full of other elderly patients) that resulted in double vision. My mother complained and was told that was all they could do for her. Extremely unprofessional lack of concern and patient care.

Went in yesterday to have lenses replaced under warranty. I received a voice mail that if I dropped them off it would take about 2 hours.They were short handed and very busy so said I would come back this morning. Arrived prior to 8:30 and Jessica ( nice) said they were so busy & would probably take longer. I had no problem with that until I had to call at 3:30 to check if they were done .So, waited over 6 hours with a headache only to find out they were ready @ 2. no courtesy phone call. Sad!
