Tracie Dembowski, NP

This woman was very rude!!! I got a little emotional during our visit due to the emotional stress of my chronic symptoms, and instead of comforting me, she questioned my mental health and proceeded to talk about my symptoms, kind of like she was just trying to rush me out. Considering she is a nurse, experiencing patients in their most vulnerable state, this was extreme poor professionalism. I would not recommend Tracie Dembowski for anyone.

DO NOT SEE NURSE PRACTITIONER TRACY DEMBOWSKI!!!! When I kindly questioned something about my symptoms, she immediately got defensive and said, and I quote, “What would you know as a 19 year old? Have you gone to medical school? Do you have medical training?” This comment is not only patronizing, but disrespectful to someone who is only curious. I am a premed student at USC; I have a right to be curious and not be disrespected in the process. However, her animosity only showed me how insecure she is about her own intelligence. DO NOT receive care from someone who lacks basic patient communication. I’m 19 and already learning about social competency in the medical field, as anyone in a position of power must be mature, especially considering patients are under extreme stress and vulnerability due to their circumstance. She broke the very first rule in the medical field. I REPEAT, DO NOT SEE NURSE PRACTITIONER TRACY DEMBOWSKI!!!! She will make you feel uncomfortable!!!!!
