I was treated as though I lacked a basic understanding of nutritional principles and cooking skills and shown what a "healthy plate" looks like, as though I were an elementary school kid. Aside from basic advice that I could have gathered for myself on the net, there was nothing particularly valuable in my appointment. Mostly, I felt subtly stigmatized for my weight.
