Doesn’t value your time.
Telehealth
I had 3 visits with Nurse Akanni. There was a 4 scheduled that she didn’t join in time and I left the Zoom. In my appointments she often wasn’t listening and I had to repeat myself. I found her dismissive of my thoughts. She also challenged every experience I relayed to her. She also changed my medication regimen despite being told I was having the best results I’d ever had.

Felt like I was somehow wasting her time. Often told me that other people have it worse than me. Consistently interrupted me to tell me that I was wrong about having ADHD and treated me like a liar despite my two prior diagnoses. Would never take me off of a medication that wasn’t working when she added a new one so I was on like 6 pills at a time. Never left her office without crying and feeling frustrated. Never had a single good experience with her.

She is very easy to talk to. She handles meds very well. I'm bipolar and was struggling with my meds being unbalanced. She pinpointed the problem and fixed it. I am very please with her and don't want to go any other place.
