Communication
We've been going to Dr Clark for years and while I find him polite and friendly and helpful in person there is a definite lack of communication problem going on. I've been waiting 5 months ( since late Jan) for my glasses and can never reach anyone at the office. I have left numerous voicemails, send emails etc.. One response to 2 wks over 6 wks ago. Then told via text they wete on way from lab this week but still no contact. I leave in less than a week for a trip to Florida and explained I need these prior to my trip There is definitely something not right here. Went through this a few yrs back (pre covid) waiting MONTHS for delivery of glasses and we switched eye docs. We thought things had improved and came back but not going back again.

Why even bother with the exam?
I had an exam and ordered glasses. I was told they'd be ready in 7-10 days, a month later and they still aren't ready. I checked with my insurance company, claim was never even made so I know that my glasses were never ordered. The doctor didn't run the numbers in a computer but used a calculator to try to determine what my insurance wouldnt cover and had me pay that in store. According to my insurance, I shouldn't have had to pay this much as a co-pay. The doctor himself seemed very kind during the actual exam, but all my experiences with him and his receptionist since then were very poor. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

I rock hit me in the eye and caused a scratch. Dr. Clark was willing to meet me after hours just to take care of my eye emergency.

Dr. Clark totally misdiagnosed my eye condition, told me that I has nothing to worry about. It took 3 visits before he realized that something was wrong with my eye and by then I had a totally detached retina with permanent macular scarring, something that could have been prevented had he sent me to see a specialist after my first or second appointment with him.

I order contacts a month ago and they advised it would arrive within 2-3 weeks. The timeframe was abnormal to me considering it usually takes a week or less for usual eye doctors, but I figured I give the place a chance especially since they provided me with contact samples. I waited the three weeks and heard nothing. My mother in law showed up at the location to find out they were closed during their “business hours.” Never got my contacts. They shouldn’t be in business. They are a joke.

This Doctor is not honest, they have very bad costumer service, they never answer their phone calls and when they do they are very rude. All his exams are wrong comparing to other exams we done. Also when you order glasses or contacts lenses you will never get them, and will take several months to get them after a fight. He bills the insurance right a way but never order anything, it took three months to get my daughter glasses after the insurance co got involve, and we waited 5 months for my gl

Horrible experience. Exam was okay, but it took over 4 months to get glasses. Extremely overpriced and it was nearly impossible to pick up my glasses when they were finally ready. Actually had to threaten to take them to small claims court to finally get my glasses. Staff was unfriendly and had horrible attitude. Worst customer service ever. If I could rate it lower than one star, I would.
