I am 81 and on medicare. Additionally, I have myasthenis Gravis. Last april, I had a minor emergency that requied me to go to the Jackson Hospital emergsency room. The doctor on duty was Timra Jerkins. She has now billed me for 2113..00 instead of filing a claim with medicare. This has caused me no end of stress and anxiety. With myasthenia gravis, I don't need this additional aggravation. Medicare law requires health care provicers who accept medicare patients to file with medicare on the patients's behalf. I would very much appreciaate it it Timra would comply with medicare law and stop billing me personally.Walter S. Carnley
