Great therapist
I felt very comfortable with Tim on my first visit. He listens to me. He is compassionate and truly understands. He helps me see the good in my life, and is helping me gain self esteem and strength. I usually walk into the visit feeling down about myself and when I leave, I have energy, strength and positivity. Thank you Tim for helping me!

Excellent therapist that goes above and beyond
Tim has been the only therapist that I feel has allowed me to uncover some things in my past that have shaped my present self. He is an excellent active listener and always gave me time to get my thoughts out followed by some feedback from him to help me re-shape my thinking patterns. Although he was very kind, he also provided me with constructive feedback that allowed me to reassess things that I needed to change. I know that should anything bad happen in my life and I need mental health support, I would gladly go back to Tim.

Tim offers great listening skills, interest, compassion, concern, a great willingness to suggest practical solutions, as well as honesty and openness. The ideas and strategies he has given to me in our discussions to help me address certain issues are always based on a solid foundation of knowledge and experience, and I have been able to implement these ideas immediately. They've helped me in so many ways, and I've been able to apply them consistently. I am grateful to him for all of these things and more, including his down-to-earth personality, his good-natured, friendly, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to our sessions, and his sense of humor. Highly recommended!

Tim had a hard time focusing on the issues at hand and understanding the issues I am experiencing with my partner. He seemed interested in helping with only superficial issues without listening to what I was saying. He chose to spend the 6 sessions grasping at low hanging fruit—completely ignoring the larger issues we asked for his help with. At the final meeting Tim accused my boyfriend of bringing a fifth of whisky to therapy. Not only was this blatantly false but at intake, my boyfriend told him (when specifically asked by Tim) that he doesn’t drink liquor. This incident is emblematic of Tim. Not listening to his clients, not paying attention in sessions, and grasping at easy issues instead of actually listening to what I needed. Tim is an unempathic lazy practitioner who tarnished the profession and reflects poorly on the mental health care community. I don’t want anyone else to fall victim to Tim’s incompetence.

I've experienced a handful of counselors for various issues; my experience with Tim was by far the best. He was very knowledgeable on complex issues in which involved addictions, chronic pain and fatigue, mental illnesses, family relationships, religious upbringings, and compulsive behaviors. It's clear that his many years of experience has equipped him with a broad set of skills to help guide his patients through seemingly impossible and difficult events, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

I have been having issues in dealing with my 82 year old mother over the past several years. Recently it reached the boiling point. I was raised to honor thy parent, but what if your parent doesn't honor thy daughter? What if everything you do for your parent is not enough, is wrong, or you are blamed for all of their failures? I had just had enough, and I needed some insights from a professional to figure out how to deal with the situation. I would highly recommend Timothy Logsdon. In just a few sessions, he gave me powerful insights into how, by my actions, I have been allowing my mother to take advantage of me over the years. And he gave me useful tools to change my way of reacting to her. He listens, offers his professional insight and real solutions. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to family and friends.
