Very disappointed working with Tim from the first session. He hands out articles for you to read that he “hands out to everyone” (his words). No thought of what is needed or involved in the problem before him, just an assembly line of articles. When asking for help during our session for my partner to do what is discussed in the article Tim was relying on to get us to talk he said “You’re an adult. You do it.” That’s why I was there. To get my partner to communicate better. After discussing how unhelpful that is he baited and said “Well I assume you don’t want to come back?!” in an unprofessional tone. He listens to bickering for fifty minutes without interjecting or aiding, then says at the end of each session “Sounds like there is a lot of hurt. Do you even want to work on this relationship?!”. That’s it. If you’re looking for help, keep looking.

While helpful on one level, Mr Cox was very directive and interrupted me several times when I was trying to explain the situation to him. He also made several personal comments unrelated to the matter I was trying to discuss.
