I was misdiagnosed by this provider. She said I had the flu even as she told me I tested negative for the flu. I was hospitalized with pneumonia a few days later after going to the emergency room for help. Everyone makes mistakes and this provider is new to this role, but the lack of logic and compassion in the treatment was what struck me. I told her I was really sick. I asked her why she was treating me for the flu if I didn't have the flu. She said the test might be wrong and told me to come back in 10 days if things weren't better. 10 days, I asked? I responded I could barely walk around, etc. She pointed me to the exit.
