I had an extremely disappointing experience with this PA due to his arrogant and dismissive attitude. When I attempted to bring up suggestions from other seasoned healthcare professionals regarding my care, his immediate response was, 'some people need to learn to stay in their lane.' I found this remark not only demeaning to me, the patient, but also disrespectful to the other healthcare professionals who had provided valuable insights.As a patient, I have every right to be involved in my own care and to bring forth relevant suggestions that could benefit my health. Instead of fostering a collaborative approach, this PA seemed more interested in asserting his superiority than actually listening and working together with me. His lack of respect for the role that other professionals, such as pharmacists, play in healthcare was concerning and unprofessional.Healthcare should be about collaboration and putting the patient's well-being first.
