Thomas Metz, MS

Living in a rural area seldom gives the residents much of a choice if they are unable, or don't care, to drive long distances to get the type of medical care they want. On occasion, the local medical personnel are superb and worth a long drive if you lived in a big city hours away! Dr. Tom Metz is an Audiologist who offers a variety of hearing services in Bishop and Ridgecrest. He was recommended by my Physician. During my first series of three visits dealing with my hearing problem, he and his staff were professional and small-town friendly. When he identified my problem he went "beyond the call" twice to insure that being rural wasn't going to prevent me from getting what I needed ASAP. In my estimation, after living here for more than three decades, I felt the chances were almost zero that it could all be pulled off quickly but Dr. Metz and his staff did it! I'm so grateful that Dr. Metz is available locally and provides top-of-the-line hearing aids and professional services.

I hadn't had a hearing test in 30 years, so thought it was time to get it checked. The exam and hearing test took a total of 15 minutes, and the results were generally good. Nice. Several weeks later I receive the bill: almost $600!! Fifteen minutes! Thanks, Tom.

Office was messy. This doctor did not explain my situation to me at all. Very poor communication skills. Front office staff very unprofessional appearance and not friendly. I would not recommend this doctor.
