Dr Bonner was a lifesaver; first, for me, then years later for my elderly father. Dr Bonner is extremely intelligent and professional. He is also very warm, caring and responsive, Dr Bonner helped me to finally leave a very toxic and difficult 20-yr marriage, with clarity, strength and grace. Years later, my elderly father, who was an intellectual, and cynical about psychotherapy, was suffering with mild dementia and severe depression. Dr Bonner was able to connect with him in a very authentic and effective manner. No matter Dad's mood or mental state, Dr Bonner treated him with tremendous respect and deference. I have tried to leave a REAL rating, this is a very difficult website. Dr.Bonner is the best, most highly regarded Doctor I'm his field in Miami. I feel privileged to be one of his many clients. Anyone who could lie,and smear his name online merely proves how much this community needs him. He is a calming voice,and listens intently to me, gives actual feedback, and offers step by step help, truly a person with knowledge plus empathy. I could NOT allow the 1 star review to stand. It's obviously a sham, I find it an injustice,and wanted to share the truth for people who really need to know it.

Very bad quality doctor. Unprofessional demeanor. When I spoke about a medical illness I had where I lost weight, he said I looked anorexic, that I needed to eat. He called later and apologized. He continued to say things putting his foot in his mouth and then apologizing. Has huge ego and a need to be “right”. Instead of trying to help you, he’s trying to prove himself. You pay him for stroking his ego.
