This is my 4th/5th Burrell psychiatrist and I started going in 2014. The providers I had kept leaving Burrell, so I had to be referred to one after the other. Tedra was my most recent provider and by far the most condescending. I’ve never felt so belittled by any of my other providers. She had absolutely zero concern for how I felt regarding my medications. Then, took it upon herself to adjust them on the very first visit because “she didn’t like the combination” of drugs I was taking. She didn’t ask me how that combo was working for me, despite me taking the same combo of drugs for the last 5 years (spoiler alert: they worked). Now, I’ve been made to feel like a guinea pig going through the entire tedious process of finding the right medications for me AGAIN. The failure to recognize how detrimental it is to my life adjusting to medication changes is a blatant disregard for my right to mental stability. Your personal opinion is not more important than my personal experience.
