February 2018 my son I got a flu shot and he had essence Aziz had a full stroke and now suffers from a traumatic brain injury and cognitive communication defect this nurse practitioner wanted to send my son to a Baltimore facility for psychiatric was very disrespectful but And lied on his paperwork and canceled all his appointments with Neurology I had to save my son 19 times and fight for his life got new doctors know 2021 and know I’m able to go after all doctors and hospitals chops and Nemours and report and get Justice served but my son still suffers from Trumatic brain injury from the stroke he’s never going to be normal they came in took my son who he used to be

Although she has an absolutely brilliant mind and is the only one who was able to figure out my diagnosis after multiple people failed, she has a severe lack of manners and does not try to empathize or make an effort to listen to her patient. She also tends to gaslight frequently and does not go with the option that makes the patient feel most comfortable but rather what she only wants to do, despite calm complaints of certain treatments/medications worsening quality of life. You go to a doctor to find relief from your pain, not to find yet ANOTHER person demanding you to push through it and ignore it because "others have it worse and you aren't special" in her own (very invalidating) words. I recommend that you seek treatment through an actual doctor who cares by listening to your child and believing their pain, because she certainly did not do that with me and my parents.

Tara is the most knowledgeable provider I have had for my son regarding his migraines. She was innovative and truly concerned with his quality of life.

Wonderful, excellent knowledge, really listens and is wholistic in her approach to care, seeing the big picture and not just the single problem

We had a horrible experience with Tara Pezzuto. She kept saying my daughter had "just a headache' because she didn't have any visual disturbances or nausea. The "just a headache" was all of her waking hours for 2 weeks and was debilitating! After our IV treatment did not work at all she still sent my daughter home and told her "to push through." She was very hard to get a hold of via phone and ended up turfing us to CHOP because she had no idea how to help my daughter!

I will not be going back to Tara after she told a teenage patient that they were a failure and that they needed to have botox and go on the paleo diet to get rid of chronic migraines with aura.

Tara Pezzuto knows about migraines but she doesn't give good care. She constantly contradicts herself regarding treatment & is annoyed when she is asked questions based on this. She gave different recommendations each time on the phone, in person, and via email. She tried to prescribe medication that was already tried and wasn't concerned about medication side effects. She doesn't read emails carefully and her medical decisions are worrisome because of this. I would never recommend her!
