Taneka openly took sides during couple counseling.Never got to the root of my now ex finance’s insecurities and constant accusations of cheating.Questioned my previous therapist’s credentials because I told her that she said my ex was a narcissist. Taneka said she didn’t see that so she questioned my previous therapist’s qualifications.Once my ex abruptly ended our engagement in an email that he sent to Taneka and copied me on, she agreed to continue counseling him individually because “he wants to be better for his next relationship” (her words). It was like she was enamored with him. She told me she could continue counseling me individually as well and that I wouldn’t even know she was still talking to him. I considered it for a minute but then I knew my healing could never happen in that space. How could I stop knowing she counseled him too?

Following counselor confirmed her actions were unprofessional. My husband said she encouraged to see a problem in me.
