Tamatha is direct and compassionate. I’m a trans man, I went to her for a top surgery letter and she not only helped me, but connected me to other trans men who have become my best friends. If you’re trans, you can trust her.

Tamatha saved my life
Tamatha was my therapist for around 3 years and during that time, she changed my life entirely for the better. She taught me coping mechanisms, helped the doctors diagnose me properly, helped me heal from very deep wounds that I hadn't even processed yet. The best part about Tamatha is that she taught me how to not need her anymore. She doesnt use patients for money, she helps them heal and when you heal, sometimes you're able to not go to a therapist anymore. I owe her my life and the amount of love I have for her is monumental.

If you are trans, she is your woman! she made me feel comfortable and affirmed in the first 3 minutes. I will forever be grateful that she allowed me the space to become the woman i am today.

I don’t recommend Kaiser at all, but if you have to use them don’t use this therapist. She seems like she cares, but doesn’t actually listen. She recommended electro convulsive therapy but then told my insurance company I wasn’t actually sick. She recommended I switch to a half time work schedule but when it was time to confirm with my job she had decided against it. There were also some appointments that there were no notes for available in Kaiser website. When I inquired about it she didn’t seem to remember some of our sessions. I really liked her at first but it felt like it was just an act and she wasn’t supportive in the end. The experience with her caused a very bad spike in my depression because I felt like I had wasted my time and told her personal things that I regret telling her. She didn’t take me seriously and frankly it hurt to learn that after she seemed so interested in my development. She also believes that people Shouldn’t be in therapy for more than a few months. I should have taken that as a red flag to discontinue work with her but I didn’t. Lesson learned.

Does not take suicidal behavior or attempts . Unbelievably unhelpful. Will offer books to read on topics that are not relevant to the problems patients are facing.
