Dr. Steffey treated me a few years ago for almost uncontrollable grief, following the traumatic death of my 8 month old grandson. It threatened to swallow me up even in the 3rd year after the event. After 2 sessions of talking with Dr. Steffey, she recommended EMDR treatment. I am so glad I did it. It seems to reset things so instead of the grief taking such a terrible toll on a person, the person has control over the grief. This helps one process things without such trauma or PTSD.
