Nurse P Susan Slappey was the NP from Hell. I also had been w Dr. MacNeill for 25 yrs in that same practice. My medication was reduced yet being treated badly was the worst thing from this visit. I told her “ You do not need to be so abrupt w your patients and she exploded shouting “ I could have been Santa Claus and you would not have liked the message. “ Unprofessional at it’s worst. I have had 6 spinal fusions from ages 14-36 and she could have cared less concerning my pain.

I have been seeing Susan Slappey for the past couple of years (or more) and have been very impressed with her clinical knowleddge, her bedside manner and her willingness to spend as much time as I need. She understands my condition and does everything possible to help me feel better. I absolutely loved Dr. Raziano but Susan has really earned my respect and loyalty. I would recommend her to anyone.

After a year searching for information, I met an orthopedic specialist who in minutes recognized my issue and made a prompt referral to Susan Slappey at the Physicians Group in Dunwoody. No one can promise with 100% certainty the outcome of a treatment plan, however, just being educated compassionately, and a course of action goes a long way. I would highly recommend Susan and this office.

I have been under Susan's care for more than three months and really appreciate her kind and caring nature. Pain is a funny thing and having a provider not only understand but emapthize while keeping you as functional as possible is a refreshing experience. Please pay no mind to the negative reviews as I'm convinced these people were looking for something they did not need but wanted and certainly not because of poor service or a lack of empathy or understanding.

I am new to the area and recently had my first appointment with Susan. She had great bed side manner, was very thorough and arranged an MRI appointment for me while I was in clinic. I can honestly say that my appointment was nothing like the others that are mentioned.

She approaches you with a chip on her shoulder, especially if you are female. A patient knows herself better than anyone else. If your condition changes and you push back, she gets defensive and will basically tell you to go to Peachford if you don't like it. I had an MD, MacNeill. I did not choose her. I asked for another MD. I need that depth of care. McNeill has shown he does not care. She doesn't. Very disappointed. NO COMPASSIONATE CARE.

A general practice nurse practitioner cannot take the place of my MD, nor is qualified to help me nor understand my condition. I am angry my doctor, MacNeill, forced me into this position. Worse yet, he does not care.

When you are as sick as me you need the best doctor you can get. I have coming here for years, and the past year and was forced to see Nurse Slappy. In fact I been trying to get with another doctor in there and told no over n over. I need a doctor. I looked it up and is a nurse for family practice. Why is she treating me? My health is getting worse, my pain is out of control! Can anybody give me the name of good pain doctor around Sandy Sqrings? I cannot drive far no more so I got to stay close

My medical team, whom I depended on, stopped my access to my MD, and brought nurse Slappy to treat me. I did not want nor choose her, she was forced on me if I was to remain a patient there. And the nurse had zero advice about my pain. She basically printed scripts and got them signed. I don't remember the last time I was given a physical exam there. Hugely feel betrayed. All she repeated rudely, over n over, was her fear of the FDA n losing license. Not a patient's problem. I came for help.

She talks at you, no eye contact to speak with you. Rushed, she is typing in the computer to move you in and out rapidly--even if you have significant changes in your medical condition. She is abrupt, rude, & mostly seeing the patients of an MD, Charles MacNeill, who is retiring. Still in training. She is Not qualified to manage patients alone, and she and the doctor have positioned her as the barrier between the patient and his doctor. My last 3 visits all them, not me, the patient. I paid MD $
