Dr. Susan Kim, OD

We selected Dr. Kim for our daughter's vision therapy because we believed she was the certified expert for the job. However, after the initial evaluation, Dr. Kim did not attend any subsequent sessions, and the therapy was instead administered by staff members without any credentials. The treatment heavily relied on screen exposure--with a large TV and computer dominating the sessions--and our daughter was encouraged to play games while wearing her lenses. Unfortunately, this excessive screen stimulation appears to worsen her vision and trigger severe headaches. At $180 per session without insurance coverage, we found the therapy both ineffective and a poor investment of our time and money. Moreover, such excessive screen time could be harmful to a child. Based on our experience, I would NOT recommend vision therapy at Dr. Kim's office.

Total whack job. Doesn’t listen. Wants to treat everyone with “vision therapy “. Don’t go to her if you want glasses. If you want alternative treatment that doesn’t work and costs a lot then you would like her.
