Dr. Susan Armstrong, PHD

Gave me good guidance and helped me understand and forgive others and myself.

I only spoke to her on the phone. I have a neighbor and friend who has been seeing Susan for 10 years. My friend has been increasingly erratic. I contacted senior services to do a wellness check. This eventually involved Dr. Armstrong. She called me seemingly annoyed an outside agency was poking around. On this call Susan Armstrong told me our entire neighborhood was toxic for her patient (my friend) and that she was advising her to sell her house and move. She had a self righteous and indignant tone. She was dismissive and almost insulting. I tried to explain some of the recent erratic behaviors we were experiencing as friends and neighbors. She treated my concern like I was out of line. My friend’s family hired an attorney because Dr. Armstrong has knowingly allowed this woman to self harm.

She was confident she could help my son. Instead she gave him the wrong advice and he self-weaned himself off of a very high dose of meds that she recommended he did. He suffered severely and when I tried to reach her(3 times) she completely ignored my calls and emails. I would never recommend this person to anyone. Very unprofessional
