If you have kidney problems hopefully you don’t encounter this man at the ER! He has 0 idea what he is talking about and was not attentive or caring at all. I knew as soon as he said I was having “back pain” NOT kidney pain (even though I’ve had a kidney disease for 12 years and know what kidney pain feels like) and that people with kidney stones are up walking around like normal, that he didn’t know what he was talking about, or even did any research before trying to make a diagnosis. I had to ask for bloodwork for kidney function which he questioned on why i would want that. Although my kidney was swollen in an ultrasound he said that everything else looked normal and sent me on my way. I was in the emergency room again very next day, needing fluids and had blood in my urine. Thank goodness I went somewhere else this time.
