I am so very grateful to have been referred to Dr. Byrnes by my surgeons. I had a traumatic eye injury that could have resulted in losing my eye. Two lengthy surgeries about 15 months apart gave me back some sight. One of the surgeons lamented that the result was not better so I asked about a contact lens. The surgeon said: We can give it a try, and the only person I will send you to is Dr. Byrnes. If anyone can help you, he can.My first appointment lasted 3.5 hours and involved more than a dozen tests. When Dr. Byrnes told me he could order a custom hard lens for my eye that would give me 20-20 vision, I nearly cried.I've been back several times for checkups and thankfully all is good. I am so very grateful and give a 100 percent recommendation to Dr. Byrnes, and Cheryl, his assistant. They truly care about their patients, and their experience and professionalism have given me a new lease on life.
