Why am I so hormonal??
Stephanie took the time to talk with me about the mood swings I’ve been having lately and discuss different facets of where they could be coming from and options for what I can do to manage. I was an emotional mess and I felt so seen and heard. Stephanie had her own relatable stories and I felt like she cared and understood what I was going through. Even though it was embarrassing to come undone in tears wearing a paper robe, I felt so relieved to have that conversation and spend the time with her. Also they got me in within a day of calling for that appointment. It probably helped that I broke down in tears on the phone with the scheduler.
