Dr. Stanley Hallock, OD

I have been a patient for 25 years and I found the real Dr Hallock. As long as you have no questions about his billing practices or anything else he can be composed. I called his office to inquire about being billed twice as much as insurance stated. Spoke to the staff and she pulled my chart and proceeded to read the notes to me and telling me I had an abnormality which was never told to me. After contacting my insurance they called the office and they had a difficult time so I called to try to understand and they wouldn't answer the phone so the next day I drove an hour and brought my claim information to show them. When I arrived the office staff was acting scared and was told to not talk to me. Dr Hallock comes storming out of the room and refused to look at anything and told me to leave. He then admitted he billed me because the insurance won't pay. I also have 2ndary insurance that picks up the medical part and his office never billed it, He also deleted my previous review.

Just an outstanding experience. Dr Stanley has a great bedside manner. He explained how the eye works and the exam procedures in a very gentile way that my little girl (10 years old) could understand. She gave me a lecture about the eye and eye exams all the way to school after the appointment. Without reservation nor hesitation I recommend Dr Stanley!

Looks like he hasn’t had a review in a long time. My experience was the worst. IT IS COVID TIMES!! THIS DOCTOR DOES NOT WEAR A MASK!!! Right in your face with NO MASK!! When asked about it he was rude, condescending, and a bully, telling me “I suppose you’re afraid of your own shadow?” YOU'RE A FREAKIN DOCTOR! PUT A MASK ON!! I would not recommend this Dr. to ANYONE!

Very competent. Hope he never retires.

Dr. Hallock is incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable, the best I have known in my 40 years of seeing eye doctors. He always treats you like a human being and not a number and he always makes it affordable.
