I had not been feelings well for months and my signs and symptoms and first set of labs were abnormal. After ordering another basic round of bloodwork which showed no abnormalities, she told me no further testing was needed, despite me feeling progressively worse. Thankfully, I found another provider who actually listened and I was diagnosed with a very serious, life-threatening disease that could have been caught at a more treatable stage had I not been dismissed at multiple appointments. The lack of compassion and curiosity displayed by this provider was disturbing.

She was not interested in my health issues. She didn't even know what my main issue was (globus pharyngis), and she wasn't interested in learning. She didn't trust me (or is hesitant to prescribe commonly-prescribed medicines for my condition). She cut me off the medicine the previous NP had prescribed me abruptly and without talking to me about it first. She never once seemed to show an interest in helping me, but rather seemed to want to move on to the next patient and forget me.
